From renown British stove manufacturer Dunsley Heat, the Highlander Enviro-Burn 8 is one of their larger output stoves which boasts both DEFRA approval for use in smoke controlled areas and EcoDesign compliance. EcoDesign is a new, 'Clean burning' directive set to come into force in 2022.

Product Information

HETAS Approved & British MadeFor those requiring more heat, the Highlander 8 Enviro-Burn Solo is capable of providing up to 8.1kW of heat and can accommodate logs up to 460mm in length. Being a multi-fuel stove, you also have the ability to burn approved solid fuels giving a longer burn time between refuelling.

This 'Solo' version is fitted with a single door with curved top around the glass giving uninterrupted views of the fire area. There is also a 'SG' door version available which has been developed to give a larger window giving a cleaner and more modern look with square detailing around the window.

The firebox is lined at the sides back and top with extra high density “Refractory Boards” to aid heat distribution and with a single door allowing access for both re-fuelling and removal of the ashes, it is a very simple stove to live with.

EcoDesign 2022 Compliant StoveActive Airwash and triple burn technology ensures highly efficient operation with a clear view of the flames from the ceramic glass viewing window. Interchangeable top or rear flue outlet making it suitable for a variety of installations.

The Highlander Enviro-Burn 8 Solo and SG model is also Eco Design certified. Ecodesign is the European-wide programme to lower emissions. It is due to come into force for stoves in the UK in 2022. SIA Ecodesign Ready stoves will meet the Ecodesign requirements and are available now. The PM emissions limit for Ecodesign is 55% lower than for DEFRA exempt stoves.

Due to the size and weight of wood burning stoves, all Dunsley Heat products will be delivered to you on a palletised delivery service. All pallet deliveries are kerbside/front door delivery only, so please arrange adequate means to take your order into your home. Under normal circumstances this may take 2 people.

Current delivery times for the Dunsley Highlander 8 Enviro-Burn Solo is approximately 7-10 days however, this is dependant on stock levels at time of placing an order. Once an order is placed, we will contact you to advise if there is likely to be any delays on the estimated delivery time.
