The 'Edge' relates to this fire not having an outer trim or frame. This allows for the fire to be recessed into a conventional chimney to allow the amazing dancing flames and ultra-realistic log effect set behind non-reflective glass front to become the main focal point. When fitted on its own as a 'hole-in-the-wall' style fireplace, it is recommended that the wall is tiled or custom stone/marble slips are used to protect the plaster on the wall from the impressive heat produced by the fire.
Alternatively, the versatile Riva2 750HL Edge gas fire can also be complemented by combining within a custom stone mantel and slips, creating a grand finish and a timeless fireplace for your home where the fire takes up most of the space of the back panel.
