A timeless design supplied with a dramatic black trim and fret, the Burley Perception 4264 works well in both classical and contemporary settings. Offered with a choice of three control options, this flueless gas fire benefits from amazing high efficiency and is the perfect addition in homes without a chimney or flue. Hand painted Pebble fuel effect set behind a glass window.
Designed for installation into a standard fireplace opening, the Perception 4264 boasts a real flame set behind a glass panel and benefits from not requiring a chimney or flue. The state-of-the-art technology used incorporates a catalytic converter which converts the carbon monoxide created during the combustion process into carbon dioxide (which is harmless and is present in fresh air). Burley has NEVER had a catalytic converter fail or need replacing.
A flueless gas fire can be fitted in minutes rather than several hours. It is an extremely simple and problem free operation provided the Gas Safe registered fitter follows the installation instructions. If it is to go in an open chimney, then the flue must be blocked. Apart from that the fire just needs connecting and testing, and a 100cm² air vent fitting.
When fitting a flueless fire such as the Burley Perception 4264, it does not need to be sealed to the fireplace opening and flueless gas fires do not have to be installed on an outside wall. As no flue is required, thousands of pounds can be saved by not building a new chimney or restoring a condemned one. All Perception flueless gas fires are supplied with a cavity box.
With all the heat entering the room, the Perception 4264 boast an excellent efficiency rating and has a maximum output of 2.5kW. A minimum room size of 30m³ (length x width x height) and as per Building Regulations Part J, an air vent which provides not less than 100cm2 free air must be installed in the room, at least 1 metre away from the fire. A chimney, ceiling or floor vent is not suitable.
Recess requirement of 95mm (3¾") when insetting into a standard, 16" fireplace opening. If inset depth is not available, an optional spacer frame is offered allowing for flush fitting against the back panel.
Choose from standard Manual control with controls discreetly hidden behind the bottom fret drawer. High level Slide with simple, easy to reach operation using a lever on the top side of trim or Remote control for the ultimate in convenience.
