A new addition from AGA, the Ellesmere EC5W is a cutting edge gas stove with wide proportions that let you enjoy the amazing dancing flames in all their glory. Powerful and highly efficient EC5W can be used as a cost effective way to heat your main living area rather than using your central heating whilst you benefit from a lovely ambience.
Constructed from steel with a shaped cast iron door which features the iconic AGA logo. Being a gas stove, you have the advantage of instant on/off and control using the stove's thermostatic remote control with 7-day timer that is included as standard. A highly authentic ceramic log fuel effect adds to the realism with the dancing flames giving the impression of a real wood burning stove.
The AGA Ellesmere EC5W is a balanced flue gas stove. This means that is does not require a conventional chimney and can be fitted against an external wall. Offered with a choice of balanced flue kits depending on your installation type, this stylish stove is ideal for main living areas, dining rooms, extensions, conservatories etc. Boasting heat up to 5.5kW and impressive efficiency rating of 82%.
If you plan to fit the stove against an external wall, the 'Rear Exit' balanced flue kit attaches to the back of the stove and vents horizontally through the wall to a terminal on the outside wall (similar to a Combi boiler).
A 'Top Exit Up & Out' Balanced Flue Kit is also available in a choice of black or stainless steel finish. This option attached to the top of the stove, runs vertically to a 90º bend which then vents horizontally through the wall to a terminal on the outside.
If your home does have a conventional brick chimney, you can still fit the Ellesmere EC5W 'Wide' Gas Stove by opting for the 'Chimney Renovation Kit'. This allows you to fit into the chimney when combined with a flexible flue liner inside the chimney (not supplied).
The EC5W is a lovely gas stove designed for a variety of installation types which is also available in variants to suit homes with either mains Natural Gas or LPG supplies.
