The Kinder Kalahari gas fire is a open-fronted gas fire ideal for all flue types including Class 2 pre-cast subject to adequate depth available to inset. It is capable of providing a welcoming heat output of up to 2.7kW and is supplied with a coal fuel bed as standard with an additional pebble fuel pack available as a cost option.
Designed for installation with a fireplace with standard opening, the Kinder Kalahari radiant gas fire can be selected with various control options. Standard manual control allows you to operate the fire using a control knob and ignition button at the base of the fire (concealed behind moveable fret drawer). The Slide control* option is very popular and reduces the need to bend right down as all functions are controlled by a lever fitted to the top side of the trim. For the ultimate in ease of operation, a fully automatic remote control (battery operated) is also offered.
Transform the look of this popular open-fronted gas fire with one of Kinder's exclusive designer one-piece cast or aluminium fascia frames.
Safety features incorporated on this fire include a Flame Supervision Device and Oxygen Depletion Sensor.
If a pebble fuel bed is specified on the natural gas model, you will also receive a coal fuel bed.
