The 2050 is a full depth inset tapered burner tray designed to fit a standard chair brick (also commonly referred to as a fire back). Chair bricks are popular in older homes with a class 1 brick chimney, originally used for burning solid fuel.
The Eko 2050 requires a min. 178mm (7") pre-fabricated flue system or conventional brick chimney.
Classed as a Decorative Gas Fire (DGF), it is capable of providing up to 2.4kW heat output. This tapered gas tray produces a lovely full depth flame picture however, as this is an open fronted fire placed within a chair brick (without a modern firebox) the efficiency is reduced to 35%.
Standard manual rotary controls located at the bottom of the fire behind fret drawer. The optional mains-free Ultrasonic remote control allows you to adjust the flame height from the comfort of your armchair. Available with a coal or pebble fuel effect and a variety of designer frets from the Eko Fires extensive range.
