Eko Fires products are intended to inspire, giving shape to ideas and making desires real. Pioneers in the pursuit to challenge preconceived ideas of the traditional fireplace by creating ground breaking designs that evolve and adapt to our ever changing lifestyles and living spaces.
Their ultra efficient Eko 5070 flueless gas fire does not require a chimney or flue. This allows you to enjoy a fire not only in the living room but also the kitchen, study, dining room and conservatories. Based on the L30G engine which is the largest in their range, it provides a stunning, landscape feature for your home that can simply by mounted on to a flat, internal or external wall.
Suitable for rooms with a minimum dimension of 30m³ (typically 11' 6" x 11' 6" x 8' high ceiling), the Eko 5070 boasts a linear flame picture set behind a glass window and is capable of providing up to 2.6kW of glorious heat. Operated using the manual rotary controls discreetly located on the fire, this designer gas fireplace boasts a sense of understated elegance for any modern interior.
Flueless fires work using Pure Heat™ catalytic technology and therefore all of the heat generated enters your room resulting in a superb 100% efficiency rating. It will not only bring you the benefit of reduced gas bills, but also the added convenience that it simply hangs on the wall using just four screws. Therefore, no building work is required and the fire can be installed in almost any room.
The catalytic technology cleans the hot air leaving the combustion chamber, converting Carbon Monoxide into harmless Carbon Dioxide. It works so effectively that it can also assist in neutralising unwanted airborne particles and allergens present in the home, helping to create a cleaner and friendlier environment. Independent tests commissioned to establish the life expectancy of the catalytic converter have proved that even after 16,957 hours (approximately equivalent to 27 years and eight months of normal use) the catalytic converter is as effective as when it is new.
As with all flueless gas appliances, the Eko 5070 requires 100cm² of additional purpose provided ventilation (air vent) in the room where the fire is fitted.
