The hottest flueless gas fire on the market boasting a superb high heat output of 4.2kW. The Burley Acumen 4111 is a full-depth flueless fire that is designed to be inset into the wall with adequate recess depth to accommodate the appliances 240mm (9½") depth.
Providing a real flame dancing around an authentic log fuel effect and set behind a glass window, it offers you the opportunity to add ambience and incredible heating performance into homes that do not have a chimney or flue.
As with all flueless gas fires, the glass-fronted Acumen 4111 requires an air vent in the room which provides not less than 100cm² of free air. It is also only suitable for rooms at least 50m³ in size (length x width x height).
Operated by remote control and featuring state-of-the-art catalytic converter technology. This is a honeycomb which is coated with rare metals. Oxygen ‘sticks’ to the coating. If a carbon monoxide molecule meets it, the oxygen converts the carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide (which is harmless and is present in fresh air). Burley has NEVER had a catalytic converter fail or need replacing.
All heat created enters the room meaning this model has a 91% useful energy efficiency rating! Oxygen depletion sensor which constantly monitors the air quality in the room. If the level of oxygen drops by just 1.5%, the fire automatically shuts down. Silhouette 4-sided trim beautifully frames this stylish glass-fronted gas fire. Suitable for either Natural Gas or LPG.
Optional Cavity box
Where the fire is fitted into any kind of enclosure, flue or false wall, heat will rise up into the void behind. This can cause shelves to get hot and where the top is open (such as a flue or cavity wall) a ‘pull’ to develop behind the appliance which could disturb the flame picture. To prevent this, the void areas should be closed off as shown in the instructions for each method. Alternatively Burley supply a Cavity Box part no CAV4111.
