A firm favourite in the extensive Gallery Fireplaces range, the Brompton 56" mantel in the beautiful Agean Limestone is incredibly versatile and well suited to a wide array of back panels & hearths. It is offered here with the stunning, optional Gallery Jubilee cast iron detail in highlighted finish and with the option of combining with your choice of gas, electric or solid fuel kit.
Based on the celebrated 'Flat Victorian' design, the Brompton fire surround boasts clean, straight lines that will stand the test of time. Premium limestone construction with warm, neutral tones mean you don't have to worry about matching with existing pieces of furniture. The overall appeal of this fireplace is made more prominent when combined with a decorative interior panel such as the optional Gallery Jubilee cast iron insert shown here.
The Jubilee is a complete interior solution for fireplaces. The decorative cast iron front panel with highlighted arch detail is supplied with its own dedicated back section allowing you to add a choice of fires to suit your individual requirements. The matt black outer section of the Jubilee creates a dramatic contrast against the lighter tones of the limestone surround.
For the ultimate in convenience, a gas fire especially designed for the Jubilee insert lets you enjoy a authentic, flickering flame fire and glowing coal effect fuel bed. The on/off setting and flame height adjustment are operated by concealed manual controls at the bottom of the fireplace behind the ashpan drawer. Whilst gas fires for these types of inserts are classed as decorative effect only and offer minimal heating performance, they offer a magnificent, ambient feature and do not normally require additional ventilation (air vent).
If you're looking for a simple ambient glow around the fire chamber that can be enjoyed whenever you want, the electric fire options provide just this. A tapered orange moulded section fits neatly inside the Jubilee insert fire chamber and incorporates standard bulbs providing glow effect that will brighten up the fireplace. There is also a model with a in-built fan unit that is capable of providing the room with up to 2kW of convected heat.
The Brompton with optional Jubilee fireplace is also very popular for those who wish to burn wood and solid fuels and a dedicated solid fuel kit is available. Whilst the Jubilee features highlighted polished areas that may tarnish due to the increased heat produced by an open fire, many believe this adds to the charm and appeal of this gorgeous design. A slabbed hearth will be required if you wish to use for solid fuel.
