Built using high quality, heavy gauge steel with an air-tight cast iron door, the Mendip Woodland stove combines aesthetics with cutting-edge technology to bring you a highly desirable appliance that is perfect for modern day living.
With a large firebox size normally associated with much more powerful stove, the Woodland has a nominal heat output of less than 5kW making it perfect for standard sized rooms and meaning additional ventilation in the room is not normally required. It is also a smoke exempt appliance so will appeal to those living in smoke controlled areas.
Proudly named as the official wood stove for The Woodland Trust and winner of 'Best Stove 2016' in the under 5kW category at the annual Hearth & Home show, it is easy to see why the newcomer in the woodburner market has has achieved these impressive accolades.
Designed for burning wood efficiently and cleanly, the Mendip Woodland stove features a multi-purpose, three way air control adjustment system allowing for optimum combustion resulting in efficiency ratings of up to 80%. The tertiary air also aids post combustion of the flue gases so ultimately, the stove will burn extremely cleanly, creating as much energy from the fuel burnt as possible.
With a wide fire chamber, the Woodland can accept larger logs than most stoves in this heat output range and provides for a stunning feature within your fireplace. The pre-heated Airwash system will also keep the glass clear of deposits for your visual pleasure. A convection top plate also helps distribute the heat into the room quicker.
The nominal heat output of the Woodland stove is 4.5kW which will be adequate to serve most living rooms well. The radiating heat along with low distance to combustibles will also help the stove fit perfectly into the majority of spaces. A multi-fuel stove capable of burning wood and approved solid fuels.
