No matter what type of flue you have in your home - or even if there is no flue or chimney at all, you can take advantage of this new cast fascia from Elgin & Hall which is designed to fix on to a variety of their gas fires. The Eclipsim Experience is a stylish, cast fascia frame finished in a gorgeous combination of matt black with polished silver detail.
A versatile option, the Elgin & Hall Eclipsim can be used with a slimline gas fire if you are limited to recess space such as a Class 2 Pre-Cast flue, glass-fronted 'HE' high efficiency gas fires which provide more heat for less gas used or if your home doesn't have a chimney at all, you can opt for the Balanced Flue gas fire which is supplied with a horizontal vent designed for installation on an external wall.
Standard controls for most models (apart from 'HE' fires) with the Eclipsim fascia is piezo manual control located at the bottom of the appliance behind the removable fret drawer. To negate the need to bend right down when turning the fire on or adjusting the flame height, Elgin & Hall's 'Smartslide' comprises of a neat lever at the top, right hand side of the fire (standard on 'HE' models).
This beautiful new gas fire will appeal to all types of fireplaces thanks to its timeless design. As with all standard 16" gas fires, the Eclipsim will fit into a standard fireplace back panel cut-out.
Fire Options
Slimline Radiant (open-fronted)
Radiant gas fires pull in cold air through their open front, circulating it over the real flames and emitting it back into the room.. The Slimline Radiant is available with manual controls located at the bottom of the appliance (behind the Eclipsim's removable fret drawer) or with Smartslide control located on a lever at the top, right hand side of the fire allowing you to turn the fire on/off and adjust the flame height without the need to bend right down.
The Slimline Radiant is an open-fronted gas fire with up to 52% efficiency and a maximum heat output of 3.2kW. With an inset depth of only 123mm, the Elgin & Hall Slimline Radiant is designed for shallower flues such as Class 2 Pre-Cast which are normally found in homes built after the 1970's.
Deepline Radiant (open-fronted)
With a deeper fuel bed depth of 173mm, the Deepline Radiant gas fire from Elgin & Hall is more suited for homes with conventional chimneys and offers a lovely 'real fire' experience from its open-fronted flames and authentic coal effect fuel bed.
The Deepline Radiant also has a maximum heat ouput of 3.2kW with an energy efficiency rating of 52%. Choose from manual or Smartslide control.
Mid-Depth HE (glass-fronted)
Glass-fronted gas fires have improved efficiency compared to open-fronted models. This is due to the panel of ceramic glass prevents air from being sucked up through the front of the fire and directing heat up the chimney, meaning a higher percentage of convected and radiant heat is propelled back into the room.
The Mid-Depth HE model has a total depth of 128mm and is ideal for shallower flues such as Pre-Cast. Impressive high efficiency rating of 82% with a maximum heat output of 2.7kW. The Mid-Depth HE model is only available with Smartslide control.
Deepline HE (glass-fronted)
With a full-depth fuel bed of 198mm, this model is designed for conventional chimneys or 5" Pre-Fabricated flues which have adequate space to accommodate the fires inset depth. This glass-fronted model boasts superb high efficiency of up to 87% with a powerful heat output of 4.2kW. The Elgin & Hall Deepline HE gas fire is only available with Smartslide control.
Balanced Flue (glass-fronted)
Identified by a round flue installed directly through an external wall or the roof. The balanced flue fire is completely sealed from the front, allowing air to circulate through the flue to the rear of the fire. Cold air is sucked into the fire to combust and the gasses are expelled via the same point. This fire is highly efficient due to its airtight installation and can be installed without a chimney breast.
This glass fronted balanced flue gas fire has a total depth of 186mm and offers an excellent high efficiency of 86% with a cosy 3.3kW maximum heat output. Available with a choice of manual or Smartslide control.
