Designed to be combined with most standard fireplace surrounds, the Gallery Landsdowne not only provides a striking, classically inspired feature, it is also extremely versatile and can accommodate a dedicated gas fire or for those who wish to burn wood or coal, a solid fuel kit can also be specified.
You are immediately drawn to the gentle lines of the curved arch with beautiful scroll leaf feature at the top of the arch. The Landsdowne cast insert is constructed in robust cast iron and can be supplied in a traditional graphite finish or highlight with the raised arch detail and scroll design accentuated in a polished satin silver finish.
The insert will require a inset recess of at least 210mm (8¼") and when combined with a dedicated gas fire or solid fuel kit, installation will require a conventional chimney. Even if you opt for the electric fire option, provisions will be needed to inset the Landsdowne as it isn't suitable for flat wall installation.
The images show the Landsdowne fitted with the Gallery electric fire option. This is currently not available and the only fires that are available are a dedicated coal effect gas fire or solid fuel kit allowing you to have a real log or coal fire.
The gas fire option provides a real, open flame effect with a authentic coal effect fuel bed. Easy operation using the manual controls located at the bottom of the appliance giving you control of the on/off settings and flame height adjustment. As with all gas fires of this type, it is classed as decorative effect only with minimal heating performance.
