Extensively finished to display a wealth of intricate detail, the Gallery Chiswick 56" limestone mantel is instantly recognisable by its roundel feature at either side of the chest. Double lipped mantel shelf and graceful curved edges running down each leg make this a popular fire surround for period properties.
Warm tones and a neutral finish that will compliment any colour scheme. Smooth to touch with a matt, chalky finish, Agean limestone tends to have less veining than Portuguese limestone but will still have subtle, random markings which is whats sets this beautiful stone apart from man-made materials.
The Chiswick limestone fire surround is available to purchase on its own so you can combine with virtually any interior, fire and hearth. It is shown here with the popular Jubilee cast iron arched insert and a 54" granite hearth which are available to purchase as a cost option at an extra discounted price.
Choose the optional dedicated Jubilee gas fire for a convenient and instant real flame when using the controls discreetly located at the bottom of the fire behind the Jubilee's ashpan cover. Authentic coal fuel effect providing a lovely glow and flickering flames which are designed more for ambience rather than heat output.
The new PD2 electric fire option is operated by remote control and produces an attractive ambient glow under the coal style fuel bed. Glow only setting plus 900W or 1800W heat output from the fan heater at the bottom of the fire. Adequate recess depth is needed behind the fireplace to accommodate the Jubilee insert dedicated back.
For those who prefer a real fire, an optional solid fuel kit is also offered which would also require an upgraded hearth such as a split & slabbed granite hearth or tiled hearth.
