Create a dramatic focal point in any classically inspired interior with the striking Gallery Dublin Corbel fireplace. This 60" mantel is crafted in sumptuous black granite that will really stand out against any colour scheme. The substantial dimensions of this fire surround make it especially well suited to larger cast inserts such as the Fitzwilliam horseshoe as pictured.
The shiny, black granite finish of the surround is accentuated by the magnificent, curved corbel feature at the top of each leg. The legs and chest feature linear detail carved in to the granite to add to the overall appeal of this captivating design. A deep mantel shelf is the ideal place to display ornaments etc.
A large, powerful mantel such as the Gallery Dublin requires an equally dominant interior. Offered here as a cost option is the impressive Fitzwilliam cast iron insert. The extra wide arch with scroll leaf detail at the sides and top surround a larger fireplace chamber allowing you to add a dedicated gas fire, electric fire or solid fuel kit. Supplied in matt black finish with the intricate raised detail on arch and scroll leaf detail polished to a beautiful pewter finish.
The dedicated gas fire available for the Fitzwilliam is made to fit within the large tapered fire chamber area and is suitable for installation into a Class 1 flue (real chimney). This gives the look of a real coal fire but with simple on/off and flame adjustment operation using the manual controls located behind the moveable ashpan drawer on the insert. The size of the gas fire results in a maximum gas input of 9.0kW and therefore an air vent will be required in the room.
An electric fire will light up the fire chamber area giving a welcoming glow which can be enjoyed without any heat. For homes that often require an additional boost of heat, there is also a version of electric fire that as well as having a glow only setting can be used to provide up to 2kW of convected heat from a concealed fan heater. Whilst no chimney or flue is required for an electric fire, provisions need to be considered to accommodate the recess depth of the insert. The Fitzwilliam has its own cast back which insets 330mm (13").
The Gallery Fitzwilliam is a popular insert for burning logs and coal. If this is something that suits your requirements, choose the optional solid fuel kit and uprated slabbed hearth. A conventional chimney is also needed for a real open fire.
