The Verine Elypse balanced flue features a depth of only 125mm making it a popular choice for home-owners without a chimney or flue who plan to fit the fire on to a standard, external cavity wall. A horizontal balanced flue kit then attaches to the back of the fire allowing the fumes to exit through the wall.
Offered with a choice of black, brass or silver chamfered trim and matching Media fret, the Verine Elypse will compliment both classical or contemporary style fireplaces and requires a standard, 16" cut-out in the fireplace back panel. A glowing coal fuel bed with brick-effect black interior create a warming, ambient feature whilst it performs extremely efficiently.
As a balanced flue gas fire, the Verine Elypse features a glass front. This means that the fumes produced are unable to enter the room and have no other way of exiting the fire apart from through the horizontal balanced flue pipe to the outside. The fire also get the air it needs to burn through this pipe.
Balanced flue gas fires are now by far the most popular option for properties that do not feature a chimney or flue. The glass front removes the issue of heat from the room being lost up a chimney and unlike powerflue gas fires, they do not require a electronically driven fan to draw the fumes out so there is no issue with noise.
A high efficiency gas fire with a net rating of up to 82%, the Verine Elypse will boast low running costs whilst providing up to 2.8kW of heat.
