Product Information

The Cast Tec Cougar is a versatile stove designed especially for modern day requirements allowing you to efficiently burn wood or smokeless fuels efficiently and simply. Constructed using robust cast iron for longevity and improved heat retention, the Cougar will give many years of dependable service.

Boasting a stylish door design that will compliment both classical and contemporary settings, the Cougar also benefits from triple burn technology consisting of Primary Air Burn (control on door), Airwash Secondary Burn (lever above door) and Tertiary Air (under the door). The tertiary air system mixes pre-heated air with the exhaust gases allowing the exhaust gas to re-ignite producing a cleaner and more efficient stove.

With a nominal heat output of up to 5kW, this wood burning and multi-fuel stove will not require an air vent in the room under most circumstances and will provide ample heat to small to medium sized rooms. It has an interchangeable 5" flue outlet making it perfect for most installation options.

Being a smoke exempt appliance, you can enjoy the warmth and ambience of being wood or smokeless fuels offers even if you live in a smokeless area. Finished in classic matt black paint finish making it perfect for any setting.

Please note: Due to rising freight charges, we are now being forced to charge extra for delivery to Highland postcodes.

Due to the size and weight of the Cast Tec Cougar 5, it will be delivered to you on a palletised delivery service. All pallet deliveries are kerbside/front door delivery only, so please arrange adequate means to take your order into your home. Under normal circumstances this may take 2 people.

Current delivery times for the Cougar 5 is approximately 5-7 days however, this is dependant on stock levels at time of placing an order. Once an order is placed, we will contact you to advise if there is likely to be any delays on the estimated delivery time.
